NFL player fulfills promise to his mother by graduating college

Rams cornerback Nickell Robey-Coleman returned to USC to get his degree.


Nickell Robey-Coleman is headed into his eighth NFL season as a cornerback for the Philadelphia Eagles. He was originally signed by the Buffalo Bills as an undrafted free agent in 2013 after playing college football at University of Southern California.  Robey-Coleman, a native of Frostproof, Florida, attended Frostproof Middle-Senior High School, where he played multiple positions for the Bulldogs. There Nickell became a four-star recruit and ranked the ninth-best cornerback coming out of high school by Rivals.com.
